I have been using Next app for about a month now. I used to use Expensify which was a complete overkill and their iOS app was buggy and saved double entries (that’s the last thing you want in an expense app).
However, last month I was introduced to Next - the simplest no-nonsense expense app that I have seen and used. The categories are laid out (see above) and all you do is tap, punch the expense and hit save. It has got daily, monthly and yearly reporting as well. This app is for you if you don’t care which cafe (Starbucks or Kala Ghoda Cafe) you spend your money in - all your coffee expenses will be logged under the Coffee icon.
