Fireworks on Marine Drive for Maharashtra Day

Sunset on a friend's yatch in Mumbai

Good break from city-life, even though DeskAway HQ is only 5 minutes away from here. When you are in "play-mode" your work seems so much more meaningful and you realize what you are working towards. Work hard, play harder. Take a step back once in a while.

TedxMumbai @ BlueFrog - April 3rd 2010

Great event! Check out the speakers here - http://tedxmumbai.com/speakers/
My favorite was Dr. V Raghunathan who intelligently explained why Indians are Privately Smart, Publicly Dumb.

Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Pictures

Kala Ghoda, is an area in South Mumbai with gorgeous Victorian style buildings and heritage structures. DeskAway HQ is a stones throw away.

Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is an annual festival, usually around nine days long, held in late January or early February. From its inception in 1999, the Festival has grown in stature and popularity, attracting visitors and participants from other parts of the country, and the world. The Festival is organised by the Kala Ghoda Association (a non-profit organisation that states its objectives as "physically upgrading the Kala Ghoda sub-precinct and making it the Art District of Mumbai") and curated by teams handling each of the sub-festivals.
